The Broker - The Short VersionTabTrade.com launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.His background tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.The SoftwareThey offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.CostsThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.InfrastructureThe speed is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.SafetyNow, the part that matters. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything.
