TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the detail that matters. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into how you think about it.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
